Rank Icons

Before there was Facebook, before there were emojis, there was The Dilly, an early social network where I served as Creative Director and was responsible for ad campaigns and marketing strategies. As part of a larger brand initiative, the Dilly “Rank Icons” was a collection of avatars created to accessorize member profiles and forum posts. With new icons released each week, members were required to earn them through various participation and activity milestones which quickly led to spikes in traffic and sign-ups.
